With over 15 years of experience in railway engineering and design, PBH Rail is totally committed to the railway industry, working exclusively on rail projects for clients across the UK.

The PBH team has an extensive knowledge base and the right industry skills gained through years of practical experience of delivering projects. With some of the industries most experienced and respected practitioners our senior leadership team manage and develop a committed and energetic group of engineers and surveyors.

Fully (RISQS) approved for Permanent Way & Electrification design and consultancy, as well as multidisciplinary Railway Engineering and Geomatics & Data Management enables an innovative, focused approach to design and management of Railway Engineering projects.

We deliver this through robust H&S practices, rigorous risk assessment, fastidious attention to safe-by-design and adherence to CDM regulations and by developing a close working relationship with the client throughout the life cycle of their projects to understand their safety requirements.

PBH have full ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification, and we are a verified supplier under the Rail industry’s RISQS certification process (supplier no. 3071).

All PBH Rail Ltd. staff are PTS (Personal Track Safety) certificated to work on railways as defined by the railway safety standard NR/L2/CTM/021.

This Competence and Training in Track Safety standard, sets out the minimum requirements for the training and assessment of individuals who undertake Track Safety duties on Network Rail-controlled infrastructure.

PBH Rail Ltd have a number of staff who are members of the Permanent Way Institution (PWI), Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) and Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
